Background
Boroujerdi was born in 1958, in the city of Boroujerd, located in Western Iran. He began his basic theological studies in his hometown, under supervision of his father and grandfather, who were both the well-known scientists in the field of religious studies and monotheism. Later on, he continued his complementary education in form of religious studies in the city of Qom, Iran. Besides that, he had undertaken a vast research and education about the reality of religions and theism. During the years his education, he had been recognized with high level of intelligence, strong memory and unique years of personality with highlighted intellectual genius, strong faith and good morals.

Purposes
The values such as justice, freedom, peace, kindness and whatsoever matching with the humanity have been always demanding by the mankind. The religions and faiths have attributed all of good names and human values to whoever introduced as God, so that God is known not by the identity, but by names and attributes. Looking to Islam, Allah is the unique God, who is the creator of human and he is the origin of justice, peace with all good names and attributes such as compassionate, kind and the best nourisher. He guides the human towards himself, and he has sent and commanded the messengers and Imams to invite the people to worship him, as their creator and to guide them to the best destiny, either in their current life and also to the promised heavenly paradise and eternal prosperity. There is holy book of Quran in addition to narrations and records of the Sunnah (mainly the lifestyle of the prophet Muhammed) which are credible criteria to distinguish between good and bad and to be followed by Muslims as a path to those promised destinations. The MDR methodology has been used to test the truth of these claims and promises, based on whatever have been described in the religious contexts and documents.
Apart of religions, there are ideologies innovated by human, mainly based on wisdom and historical experience, advocating the same values, and claiming that all mankind needs such as peace and justice will be provided following their recommended path and lifestyle. These ideologies have also promised to guide the mankind to a utopia where all his best dreams will become true. So non-religious people may believe in such ideologies and support the individuals or corporations including political parties, human and civil right entities, intellectuals and philosophies who might not be necessarily religious, but are advocating, claiming and promising the same prosperous life for their followers. For example, Freemasonry is one of the oldest organizations, well-known as advocator and supporter of justice, brotherhood and humanity.
Based on MDR methodology, the validity of such claims and promises has been tested, accordingly.

Field Study and Results: Practice in Iran as a Target Society
Boroujerdi has chosen the society of Iran for a long-term field study and practice, since it has been the origin land of different religions where the religious states have been ruled throughout the history. Actually, the Iranian people have been always exploited by dictators who have abused the religion as a tool for stabilization of their rule.
Basically, Boroujerdi’s father and ancestors who were promoters of monotheism during last 14 centuries, had already initiated a movement in form of a scientific campaign against the tyrannical and religious rulers. Before the establishment of the religious regime in Iran, in 1979, his father, had founded a well-known scientific institute called “The Academy of Light” to oppose the religious abuse and tyranny, the result of which was publishing more than 30 books and hundreds of articles emphasizing on scientific debate, dialogue and arguments with the supporters of Islamic and ideological exploitation.
Hence, with these inherited scientific achievements, Boroujerdi started his activities using the normal uniform of Islamic clerics, after formation of the Islamic state in Iran, in 1979.
His MDR approach was to make a trial, including to teach and practice the religious taught, to follow its ideology and to wait for the expected results as promised in the contexts of religion. Looking to the Islamic contexts and the formal religious monotheism, it was obvious that God is introduced as the creator of human and the universe, God teaches the mankind how to practice and to follow him, so he has shown the good and evil, and finally he will act as a just to reward or to punish, then to offer the heaven or to jail in the hell. Despite of being known with names and attributes, this almighty God must be the director of the existence. God is a supporter, he has sent the prophets, messengers and Imams with holy books, but he also has created the evil in form of Satan or whatever as symbols of badness, so that the human has free will to choose between good and bad. This God is introduced to take care of all human affairs, from the smallest to the most important, so human life is continuously monitored by him as an observer!
After long years of field study and practice, Boroujerdi has proved theoretically and practically that the human has been misled throughout the history by such religious monotheism or other kind of theism, since the MDR approach shows no reasonable achievement or definitive destination following religious practice and prayer. No ideology or religion could succeed to guide the human towards the director of universe. This director should be the greatest and must be above such religious taught and explanations as is written in the available contexts.
In simple word, the director of universe must not be the God who is entirely limited to the earth planet, involved in all human affairs, living with him and bothering him time to time by religious rules and sentences! The director must have more important affairs rather to observe for example what is happening inside someone’s bedroom, and to record his behaviors for later assessment resulting in punishment or reward!

Background to Social Work: Religious State in Iran
Prior to the revolution of 1979 in Iran, the authoritarian Islamic clerics were secretly plotting against the monarchy by abusing the devout people in order to establish the religious state. Their main goal was to acquire the power in Iran, as a historic land with enormous human and natural resources, one of the main centers for monotheism in Middle East. Obviously, the Islamic Mullahs and their supporters had plot to abuse this holy land as a basement to attain their subsequent satanic desires. The first step of this satanic plot was to invent an Imam and absorb the non-educated and illiterate people to that man-made holiness for further exploitation. The first scientific campaign to confront this plot was led by Boroujerdi’s father via the academy of light, but it was failed and he became restricted by the Islamic Mullahs, since they could manage to receive enough support from the foreign powers and global Media in addition to fake intellectuals who misled the students and young generations through the ideologies supporting the Islamic concepts.
After the revolution of 1979, the Islamic state was founded and led by Ayatollah Khomeini, who had named himself as Imam Khomeini and took the absolute power in Iran. Due to having a dictatorship nature and abusing the beliefs of the people, this regime had no result rather than poverty, corruption, degeneration, conflicts, displacement, massacre of the Iranian nation and war against the neighboring countries. So due to their mismanagement and failing to rule the country in a wise way, the Iranian people have become miserable and the citizens have been continuously suffered from gradual disintegration and death as a result of increased economic and political pressures. The regime’s authorities utilized the natural and human resources of Iran for their evil ambitions abroad mainly within the neighboring countries, which caused the Middle East to become a land of religious violence, terrorism and massacre of innocent people.

Boroujerdi’s Movement: The Beginning
During the mess of religious state with overall corruption and annihilation, Boroujerdi undertook an important responsibility and began his movement to save the society. Since he had educated in theism and religious studies, he decided to begin his social publicity from early 1990’s using the usual clerical uniform and publicizing the traditional religion because that was the only way to share his secular ideas with the society. Basically, he had been assigned since 1979 as the leader of prayer in his specific mosque, called Hemmat Abad, in Tehran, which was the only remained tribune after years of extensive repression. So, he used that opportunity to promote a new version of religion which was separated from politics and obviously was against the government’s version of religion.
He conducted his movement in form of religious prayers based on traditional monotheism, in which he tried to define a border between the traditional religion and the political one, including to disclose the differences between God-assigned Imams, as described within the religious documents and holy book of Quran, and the invented Imam. He could manage to absorb thousands of people who were seeking the truth, especially the ones who were primarily misled due to being the followers of a radical version of religion. He could mainly succeed to change their minds after introduction to his new peaceful approach, a revised perception of monotheism. This movement was actually a peaceful campaign against the Islamic State of Iran without any violence, so it was being monitored by the rulers of religious government, whom finally tried to stop it by force. Basically, the Islamic government recognizes his unique version of state-religion as formal and valid, and any other interpretation of religion and monotheism, are considered as heresy and crime.

Confronting the Religious State
In October 1995, Boroujerdi was prosecuted by the religious regime during which he was arrested and jailed in medieval-like Towheed prison in Tehran, where he was being tortured physically and spiritually, to stop his movement and to become a promoter of the political version of religion. After about two months of illegal arrest, without explanation of charges and no access to a lawyer, while suffering from tortures which resulted in his heart attack, he was temporarily released. Thereafter, his mosque was confiscated and all of his religious and social activities were stopped.
For Boroujerdi, it was the first suspicion and a sign of uncertainty that the God whom he was advocating and advertising his religion, did never support him. He used to promote the inherited faith based on the reliance on that God and expectation for his assistance and kind attention, but that dream never become true. It was also a contradiction that the religious rulers who call themselves as representatives of God, have arrested and tortured Boroujerdi, who had advocated the same for long years.
After release from prison, Boroujerdi followed his activities as an author and a monotheistic intellectual followed by establishment of an office and publishing several books and numerous papers, distributed within the country and abroad. In this step, he changed the way of prayer, based on the hypothesis that his failure in receiving support for the peaceful movement was probably due to practicing the traditional way of religious prayer which might be not connected to God. So, according to the religious contexts and narrations by Imams, that the Gnosis could be a better way of connection to God, rather than the popular ways of prayer. This was an idea mainly advocated by some individuals and Islamic Gnostics who were always being rejected by the majority of religious people and the religious states, throughout the history. Therefore, Boroujerdi initiated a new way of social works, called “Visual Gnosis”; This is based on the fact that all claims and theories must be visually observed; so if someone follows up the recommended ways of prayer, the advantages must be obvious in his personal and social lives, it means the existing God must support.
He restarted the benediction ceremonies which was publicly welcomed by the Iranians and especially the groups of intellectuals and people with modern mindset. He was trying to divert the audience from the religious government towards their creator, whom is introduced as the only absolute almighty power to guide the human and to release them from miseries; as premised in the religious documents and holy books.
In the lack of support by any Media or organization and without any governmental fund, his ceremonies became gradually bigger to the extent that those were being held in the big sport stadiums, public parks or large cultural centers.
This movement was marvelously successful and the benediction ceremonies with crowd of people were showing that the majority of the society do not support the governmental or traditional way of prayer. In addition, Boroujerdi was calling his ceremonies as “Assembly of Helpless People” to collect the afflicted citizens and pray for better life, which itself was showing the consequences of political religion and highlighting the mismanagement of ruling clerics. This was clearly proving the fact that the society of Iran were suffering from widespread miseries and insecurity.
Meanwhile, he was holding the public prayer ceremonies in the Noor Mosque located at south of Tehran where his father had publicized a traditional monotheism for about 50 years. So, he used that mosque as a basement for his cultural and religious activities.
This peaceful movement, had made a serious threat for the religious regime and the dictatorship, so Boroujerdi was being continuously arrested and interrogated by the Special Court of Clergy, a security organization established for suppression of dissidents under the direct supervision and control of the regime’s supreme leader.
During one of these prosecutions, Boroujerdi had been jailed in the Evin prison in Tehran between March and May 2001. Subsequently, his office was confiscated and he was forced to stop all of his cultural and social activities, in addition to publish an announcement in the domestic Media stating that he will not have any official tribune anymore.
However, due to striving by his followers, whose numbers exceeded a million, the benediction ceremonies restarted again. This resulted in some more severe reactions by the regime, to the extent that they assassinated his father in September 2002 as a revenge and confiscated the Noor Mosque.
Despite of such religious and political brutality, Boroujerdi did not give up. To answer the main questions that whether the God of religion really exists, does he really observe and support and/or will be any spiritual assistance provided from so called “Extraterrestrial” by religious holy persons such as the Imams or the messenger, Boroujerdi decided to continue his peaceful movement. He called those ceremonies as “the Sea of Troubled People” and “The Assembly of God Seekers”, since by participation of a crowd of miserable people, it was revealed that the Iranians who are actually the owners of enormous national and natural resources, are suffering from extensive catastrophes such as poverty, incurable diseases, cultural degradation, family breakdown and they have become so miserable, to the extent that the majority of them are looking for a support from the extraterrestrial to save their life or to survive!
Many of social and political analyzers believe that those independent assemblies held by Boroujerdi were actually unofficial referendum in protest to the rule of Mullahs and a peaceful movement of civil disobedience against the religious dictatorship. But also, those were more significantly protesting against the God, who has been called the creator, and is also named as the responsible for his creatures. Since the human is introduced as the highest and the most respected creature in the religious contexts, that God should definitely respond to human demands and appeals.
Since the religious dictators could not tolerate such assemblies, first they decided to compromise with Boroujerdi. But after his refusal, they tried to kill him during one of the benediction ceremonies held in the city of Abadan, south western Iran, which the failed due to crowd of his followers.
Following the failure of this terror plot, on 30 July 2006, the regime’s security forces attacked Boroujerdi’s house located in Sarv alley, Azadi Aevenue in central Tehran, in order to kidnap him. In response to this violence, thousands of his followers gathered around his house to prevent his arresting during which clashes happened between the regime’s forces and the people, so the regime withdrew back, but continued to besiege Boroujerdi and his supporters for next two and half months.

First House Arrest
Under this siege, Boroujerdi shown to his followers and the public, mainly to the ones who seek the God through the traditional religion or gnosis, that no support is provided by whoever is called God, despite of the fascinating and seductive promises written in religious and gnostic books, narratives, contexts.
From this time afterwards, he decided to examine the promises and claims of the non-religious organizations, Media and political parties and authorities, who advocates justice, peace and human and civil rights. From this viewpoints, Boroujerdi’s movement had to be supported, because it had been based on practicing freedom of speech, press and thought in addition to seeking justice and human values for all human beings. So, he was a leader with more than thirty years of social work to defend human and civil rights in his country and he should be supported globally. Hence, during next two and half months, Boroujerdi and his followers began to broadcast their movement through the international Media and formally requested the international political and religious leaders and authorities to support his peaceful movement in addition to the concept of separation between religion and politics in Iran.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that his house was under siege by the security forces, his followers continued gathering around his house and resisting fearlessly to protect him and his family against daily assaults of regime’s security forces and the militia. In spite of the boycott by the domestic Media, the news of Boroujerdi along with his opinions and aims were being widely broadcasted in the international Media which turned the regime more aggressive. Therefore, they threatened him and his followers to be massacred soon.
Finally on 7 and 8 October 2006, after 2 days bloody clashes with troops of security forces and the regime’s armed militia, Boroujerdi along with his family members and a thousand of his followers became arrested and transferred to Evin prison. After being jailed, he was severely beaten and tortured in the solitary confinement to the extent that he lost his awareness and transferred temporarily to the ICU ward of a military hospital in Tehran.
The brutality and insanity of the regime’s forces in suppression and arresting of Boroujerdi and his followers were to the extent that even his 70-year-old mother and his 6 months old granddaughter were beaten and tortured in the ward 240 of the Evin prison. Unfortunately, his mother passed away just 3 months after her temporary release due to several diseases she had been suffered after inhaled toxic gases during arrest and continuous tortures in the solitary confinement.
In addition, his wife and children were severely tortured, even in his presence, by several ways such as burning of their bodies, breaking their bones and injection of suspicious chemicals, to force him to confess against himself during interrogations. His family members have been several times hospitalized and even now after long years, they are still suffering from the diseases caused by those tortures.
Since the Human Rights Organizations and the individuals pretending as defenders of Human Rights did not effectively support Boroujerdi, the regime became more emboldened to suppress him and his followers, so that the special court of clergy sentenced them to death by execution after holding a series of show trials. Therefore, Boroujerdi was forced to confess against himself in the Media to save the life of those innocent people. By using the movies of these false confessions, the regime has made many TV serials and episodes against Boroujerdi and frequently has publicized them in domestic Media, Youtube and Internet to assassinate his character and discredit him in the local and international society.
In the next step, the regime held several formal trials behind the closed doors, where Boroujerdi was deprived of having a lawyer of his choice. He was sentenced to eleven years of jail in Evin prison which later changed to jail in exile in the Yazd military prison, in the center of Iran. During the years of jail, Boroujerdi was frequently tortured in the prison and he was tragically deprived of having access to lawyer, medical treatment and medicines and even he was denied to apply for medical furlough.

Analysis of Boroujerdi’s Movement
Religions and faiths have claimed that the Heavenly God, the creator is the source of justice, kindness, support, freedom and all human values which the mankind is looking for.
On the other hand, the human and civil organizations with several hundred years history of establishment in addition to some politicians and advocators of human rights, democracy and freedom, have claimed that those are the ones who can support these human demands and they have plans to make all human dreams become true. Hence, they claim that if their slogans are promoted and become dominant globally, that promised Utopia could be established. By this way, those could be called as an Earthly God, means to be recognized as a replacement of Heavenly God.
To examine this hypothesis, Boroujerdi’s continued his movement from inside the prison to seek help from all such defenders and advocators worldwide.

Boroujerdi’s Activities from inside the Prison
To object the oppressions and crimes committed by the religious rulers of Iran, who have abused the cleric clothes, Boroujerdi defrocked himself forever and removed his formal clothes of clergy, at the beginning of his jail.
He continued to send hundreds of letters to different individuals and entities around the world, describing his movement and his goals, with notifying about the tyranny of religious rulers including the tortures and misbehaviors against him, his family, his followers and the suppression of the Iranian nation who have been suffered since the Islamic revolution of 1979. Through these letters, he warned about the satanic ambitions of the Mullahs to endanger the world stability and he was asking them to support him as an independent leader and his movement as an alternative solution to guarantee peace and justice for Iran and the world. He called for a referendum in Iran under control of the observers assigned by United Nation to ensure that the Iranian people have become tired of the religious government and they are seeking freedom and democracy. These letters were actually addressed to whoever claim as being advocator of justice, human and civil rights, peace and philanthropy from the religious and political leaders and authorities including UN, EU and North American countries to independent individuals, journalists, reporters, activists in social media, human and civil rights organizations in addition to the dissidents and opposition parties acting against the religious regime of Iran. He used to grant this authority to everyone who would like to act as his lawyer or representative to convey his voice to the world. In addition, he was committed to discredit the dictatorship rulers of Iran by reporting the violence of the human rights of the prisoners inside the Iranian jails, hence acting as a human rights observer, nevertheless of being locked in the hands of the dictatorship regime.
Furthermore, by sending several letters to the world leaders who are supporting the Iranian government, Boroujerdi notified them about the continuation of the regime’s tyrannies and its crimes and reminded them that the history will judge them very harshly.
Following that, he developed his movement based on solidarity between the followers of different religions called “The Solidarity of God Seekers” in which he has presented new solutions for settlement of disputes between religious believers in Middle East and the entire world to achieve the global peace.

Lack of Support
Despite of all calls for support and the efforts by Boroujerdi’s followers, no effective support was provided from any of so called “the Earthly Gods”. In addition, during his years of prison, he was still holding frequent religious and monotheistic prayers, led from inside the prison via phone call, where he was still called “the Heavenly God”, seeking help or a way of salvation. But no response was provided; he remained in jail and his situation was continuously a subject of ridicule to his interrogators and the regime’s Mullahs, who were sarcastically asking him where is your God, your prophet or Imam to help you?
In a simple word, Boroujerdi remained forgotten and vulnerable and his situation became worse. Actually, due to publishment of his letters and calls in the Media, the regime became ruder to misbehave, including to transfer Boroujerdi to solitary confinement with increased tortures, depriving him of access to medical treatment and medicines and finally assassination threats and physical attacks which caused several injuries and long-term diseases such as Parkinson, lost vision of one eye, paralysis etc.
In addition to several plots led by the regime’s agents for character assassination of Boroujerdi between the opposition parties and defaming his movement, his international lawyer, Mr. Bill Nojay who was following up his case as the attorney general of the Iranian people, was suspiciously killed. So as a result, one of the ways for prosecution of the leaders of the Islamic State of Iran in global courts has been failed.
In conclusion, the catastrophic treatment of Boroujerdi and his followers proved that either the heavenly God or the Earthly God, never support any establishment of justice and human values.

Temporary Release: Second House Arrest
Following the severe deterioration of Boroujerdi’s physical condition, he has been temporarily released on January 2017 after being forced into accepting serious conditions imposed by the regime’s Special Court of Clergy, including a bail of hundred thousand US dollar and bailment by two bail bondsmen.
In addition to the bails, Boroujerdi has been enforced to write commitments to the representatives of three security organizations: the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, the Intelligence Organization of Guardians of Islamic Revolution, and the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, that firstly, he should not take part in gatherings of more than ten people, secondly, that he should not interview with the media or talk to the news agencies, and thirdly, that he should not hold any meetings or assemblies.
He was transferred to the hospital immediately after release for medical examination and diagnostics. It was revealed that he has suffered since long years ago from numerous illnesses such as heart and renal disease, respiratory issues, osteoporosis, deformation and inflammation of legs and low back and critical loss of vision on both eyes. Since early January 2017 till now, he is continuously under medical examinations and treatment.

Boroujerdi’s Achievements during the Jail
Despite of all suppression and lack of support from heavenly and earthly Gods, the Boroujerdi’s movement resulted in some achievements which are a base for future development of the country and the globe. Basically, Boroujerdi’s movement has resulted in extraordinary achievements especially discrediting of the religious governments and the fake advocators of peace and justice and the fact that the current theism and religious prayer has not led the believers to the so-called God and the religious promises have not become true.
In addition, the concept of non-political religion and secular government have become one of the main aims of different Iranian opposition groups. Indeed, many of these political parties have included this concept within their statute and they highlighted this request in the list of priorities and purposes of their campaign against the religious dictators of Iran.
Due to Boroujerdi’s continuous efforts and insisting on his peaceful intentions, he has been honored and he was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize in 2012 by some well-known professors from several international universities.
Moreover, many of the well-known international experts have praised Mr. Boroujerdi through several speeches and writing some papers or mentioning him and his movement in their books after correct evaluation and understanding of his endeavors and the importance of his plans to achieve the global peace. This is worth to note that Boroujerdi’s movement have been always involved with a free and democratic manner and were accompanied with minimum financial and life loss for his followers and supporters.
Due to extensive endeavors by the representatives of Boroujerdi, his case was followed up through the United Nations, European Parliament and the cabinets of several western countries, so the regrettable situation of the oppressed Iranian people and the defenseless prisoners have been reported to those authorities.
During long years of his endeavors, many different groups have joined his movement or some of them have separated, however, currently without any advertisement in Media, his followers and the like-minded people are exceeded millions in Iran and the entire world.

New Movement from Inside the prison
During 2010’s, Boroujerdi found that it is enough to trust on the heavenly or earthly Gods, since the long years of trial including to practice and waiting for response, have brought no advantages and no results unless misery, jail, tortures and discredit. The records of the history are also showing the same that following up the religious God and man-made ideologies have not been advantageous, rather have been resulted in a triangle of poverty, suffering and insecurity. In a simple word, he proved that the human beings have been fooled and misled both by religions and politics. There is no support by any God and all promises have become fake. So instead of emphasizing on his monotheistic views and to continue his movement in the same manner as before, Boroujerdi followed up new approaches based on wisdom and logical debate, which is known as Mismatching between the Documents and the Records known as MDR.
